1. Preheat oven to 180C. Line muffin tin with paper muffin cases.
2. Whisk the oil, eggs and sugar together in a large bowl. Stir in the pear, nuts, lemon rind and juice.
3. Add the bran, flour and soda, stir until just combined.
4. Spoon 1/2 cups of the mixture into the muffin cases. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until lightly browned. Turn muffins out onto a wire rack to cool. Repeat with any remaining mixture.
